Houthi rebels in Yemen have shot down seven US Reaper drones in less than six weeks, a loss of aircraft worth more than US$200 million (NZ$334m) in what is becoming the most dramatic cost to the Pentagon of the military campaign against the Iran-backed militants. According to defence officials, three of the drones were shot down in the past week " suggesting the militants' targeting of the unmanned aircraft flying over Yemen has improved. The drones were doing attack runs or conducting surveillance, and they crashed both into the water and onto land, said the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss military operations.

Don't Fear the Reapers. Lol.

Goat herders in the poorest nation on earth are holding their own against the combined might of the US and the Zionist entity.

It's exhilarating to behold. The US Navy is facing their most formidable foe since WW2.

Godspeed Ansar Allah.

President Plane Crash is as lethal for military drones as he is for civilian aircraft.

If ten years ago the US had helped the Houthis against murderous (Sunni) Muhammad Bin Salman (MBS) and the Saudi military who consider the Shia Houthis heretics, the American taxpayer wouldn't be in this wasteful situation. No one but Shias from Iran, Lebanon, Iran, and the UN helped the Houthis during the Saudi naval blockade which caused a famine in Yemen, so the independent Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi entered Tehran's orbit out of gratitude. That's why we saw counterattacks from the Houthis for every Israeli attack against Iran, Syria, or Palestine. A Dutchman I knew years ago used to fish off the Yemen coast and nothing ever happened to him or other Westerners there. Before 2015, no one outside the Middle East even knew what a Houthi was. Now Trumpf throws around the word "Houthi" like this should be important to the American taxpayer or US servicemember.

Yeah, that's why you send drones and not manned aircraft. SAMs work.

Bury Zionism and this all stops.

US weapons manufacturers should be the focus of obliteration, imo.

Here's how to calculate it:

1,000,000,000,000
over
200,000,000

100%=0.02%

SO 0.02 percent of the budget. A peanut. Out gov burns more than any houthi could shoot down.

It's not about The Money.

They are not backing down. They are downing US Military Assests on a regular basis.

They are forcing Israelis to cower in bomb shelters.

It's Humiliating for the Chosen.

Their patina of invincibility is being tarnished.

Judging by all the B-2 that forward deployed to Abu Garcia, the Houthi lifeline from Iran is going to evaporate. Houthis don't make any of those weapons.

How did AIPAC and the US military-industrial complex get an Iowa farmer or an Ohio truck driver to hate the Houthis? If a Houthi walked up to any one of them on the street, that American taxpayer wouldn't even know it.

Russia sends help to Iran after deadly port explosion

Putin cares more about Iran than the------------- cares about Arkansas.

#8 I've read that some of the missiles used to down Reapers were locally made.

If so they may not be as dependent on Iran as you think to keep up the pressure on Israel.

They may also be more tech savvy than advertised by Israeli and American agitprop.

It's "scary" when they shoot back. The US and Israel aren't used to not having complete control of the Air.

It's a new world when goat herders have ballistic missiles.

Especially if they can produce them themselves.

Old ways are dying. Old impunity is eroding.

This is a good thing.
