PS - I just looked up stats on miniature dachshunds. Never more than 11 pounds.
Wow, 529 in heat and poisonous snakes. Yep, that's a brave little feller alright ...

I have a lot of them, and I can tell you that a- they love heat, and b- they will eat snek. One of mine learned to hunt crawfish after flooding rain, head underwater to the ears. She taught some of the others too.
