"The US vice-president presides over the Senate, and it was in this role that Pence resisted calls from Trump and his supporters to try to overturn the election results.

Although there was no hard evidence to back up Trump's allegations, his supporters targeted the Congressional certification of the election, usually a routine procedure, on 6 January 2021.

Trump publicly criticised Pence and called on him to stop the certification process. Some of the Capitol rioters chanted "hang Mike Pence" as they breached security."

Wonder when Trump will pull Pence's Secret Service protection.

To save money, of course. Not out of any sort of petty vindictiveness.

Also, I fully expect the mentally challenged bleeper here to delete Pence's name...
