The nationalities and number of migrants are not immediately clear, but a flight to Libya carrying the deportees could leave as soon as Wednesday. Human rights groups have called conditions in the country's network of migrant detention centers "horrific" and "deplorable." Amnesty International reports that security forces conduct arbitrary detentions and torture is commonplace: www.amnesty.org Below, Nigerian detainees "die like chickens" in a Libyan prison.

Why not just put them in cargo containers and dump them at sea?

I don't get it.

Ultra-smart business guys El Heavy and Leon should realize that it would be cheaper to train these immigrants in marketable trades, make them learn American English, pay taxes and join the conga line of immigrants who then become citizens. Spending millions to transport and house these folks far away, then spend on the legal cost to defend the government's actions make no sense in comparison ...

At least we feed cattle and other livestock well; to fatten them up, before we kill them. Sending these people to Libya is sumply nurder, The ubsurdity of Trump ever accusing another nation of human rights violations destroys the concept of humsn rights. The U.S. is a super power and, as such, we have responsibilities. One of the most important is that the United States cannot be a major violator of human rights andm at the same time, be an enforcer against human rights violations. The Trump administration, is, under our name, destroying the concept of human rights; the concept that human beings are born with innate, inviolable rights, as we declared in the Declaration of Independence, is finished. Donald Trump is USING HIS powers as President to make revolution permissable or even necessary under our most basic American public document. He is also negating International Law. When the Rule of Law is left to the discretion of the Exwcutive Branch then there is no rule of law. At least as colonists the Magna Carta offered us some protection from a crazy King but without the courts we have no protextion from a Wannabe King!
