Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem announced the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Nicaragua and Honduras. The termination will be effective 60 days after the publication of the Federal Register notice. Nicaraguan and Honduran nationals departing the US are encouraged to use the US Customs and Border Protection CBP Home app to report their departure from the US and take advantage of a safe, secure way to self-deport which includes a complimentary plane ticket, a $1,000 exit bonus, and potential future opportunities for legal immigration. Nicaragua has a GDP per capita of $2,530 and is plagued with human rights abuses according to the UN. Honduras GDP per capita is $3,268. 60% of the Honduran population lives on less than $5.50 a day, a poverty rate that is only surpassed in the region by Haiti. Honduras is also beset by endemic violence, as well as droughts, hurricanes, and food insecurity. Deporting these vulnerable people back to Honduras and Nicaragua is tantamount to a pitiless death sentence, which is why these victims sought safety and opportunity in the US. The cruelty of the Trumpf junta and their desire to bleach the country of non-whites has no limit.

Between five and ten migrant children have been killed since February after the US deported them back to Honduras. Lawmakers have yet to come up with best practices to deal with the waves of unaccompanied children apprehended by Border Patrol agents, but some politicians refute claims that children are fleeing violence and are opting instead to fund legislation that would fast-track their deportations.

A TikTok social post also reports five Honduran children recently died of an unspecified virus.

These Hondurans the Trumpf junta will be deporting will be cruelly consigned to a tropical gehenna which is why they fled in the first place.

    "a $1,000 exit bonus"

Look how much illegal immigrants are costing America because Biden is giving them free money!

#7: Hi Snoofy: And that "$1,000 exit bonus" puts an immediate target on the backs of these poor refugees the moment they return to either Honduras or Nicaragua. Gangs will be waiting for them. Cha-Ching!

Seeing as entering the country is as easy as it was under Joe Biden, since Trump hasn't actually closed the border, I would expect an enterprising immigrant to take their $1000 and their free plane ticket, and buy a return plane ticket on Spirit for $250, then collect another $1000 to leave. Rinse and repeat.

it's heartening to know we created the largest law enforcement agency in the country with a budget larger than most nation's militaries with limited to no discussion.

How many of these deportees are guilty vicious criminals, as Pres Trump has stated?

How many are just working, supporting our economy, to provide for loved ones?

If the former, I say good.

But the latter, farm workers, etc.

How might the latter be replaced by American citizens?
