Trump and Putin are weak leaders who are entirely dependent on lies and corruption for their perceived "strength".

"entirely dependent on lies and corruption"
Unfortunately, Lies and Corruption are extremely well financed. The Panama Papers showed us that. Republicans don't care.

That bromance was doomed from the start. I've been wondering who would be first to start slinging mud.
Trump really is the dumbest president this country has ever had.
Intellectually, Putin will squash him like an annoying bug.

Trump is so hide-bound to his own narcissism that he's impervious to humiliation.

... and that he's brushing aside Trump's anger about it. ...
Nah.
What Pres Putin is doing about Pres Trump's comments seems to be Pres Putin saying that those comments are an admission of weakness by Pres trump in standing up to Pres Putin.
That aspect seems to be how Pres Putin has played Pres Trump from the beginning.
In spite of the lame (I'm being kind) video recently released by Sec Hegseth[1] about US military strength, Pres Trump seems to be bowing down to Pres Putin.
