@#6
Yup.
I also noticed in that video the analog tape recorders using 10 1/2 reels of 2 inch wide audio tape.
I have such a reel of audio tape upstairs on a shelf.
I have no idea what is on that reel of tape.
I obtained the reel back nearly 5 decades ago when I worked for a record company. The company at the time was cleaning up ~stuff~ and that reel of tape was destined for the trash. The reel was in an odd place in the building, I was curious about it. So I asked the appropriate Manager if I could have it. He said,, "take it."
As I said, I have no idea of what may be on that reel of audio tape, but it was from a major record label back then.
I have no means to listen to that tape, as my tape players were all 1/4 inch consumer types.
Oh well...

" I have no means to listen to that tape"
Find one. Call local (old) recording studios to see if they have the equipment, and if not, who they think might. Failing that, try to buy a player on FB Marketplace, and use the tape for the test run.
And please let us know the outcome.

@#10 ... Find one ...
I did that with a similarly-attained 1/2 inch 7 inch reel of tape.
Back then, I knew someone in the industry.
Turns out, the tape was a video recording of an old Johnny Cash concert.
So, I contacted the Johnny Cash Museum and asked them if they wanted the donation ...
Yeah, I may start down that path again ...

... You were wrong You were right And you are gone Tonight You were free So alive You were wrong You were right And you were down You could see And you wore hearts For me And you were sharp Sharp as knives You were wrong You were right ...
You were free So alive You were wrong You were right
And you were down You could see And you wore hearts For me
And you were sharp Sharp as knives You were wrong You were right ...
(I did not know, before i heard this tune, that "five for fighting" was an ice hockey term.)

OK, PBS now seems to be only offering a couple minute "preview" of that amazing show, instead of the full show they used to offer.
