I'd have to call that the "weaponization" of the FBI! But then I don't have the handy Fox News translation program that translates Trumpspeak into legally acceptable commentary for the President.

Why do republicans always take the worse examples from a dark chapter in American history especially regarding government overreach and the violation of civil liberties and try and duplicate it?

They can waste federal resources helping to find them, but the Dems are committing no crimes and are using a remedy to fascism allowed by the Texas constitution. Dotard thinking that somehow Rapeublcons are somehow deserving of an extra five seats does not give the FBI or any other LE agency probable cause to take them into custody.
