You are gonna have to cut the FDA some slack. There were already in bad shape BT. Now there are only 2 white guys working the Indonesian desk now and no overtime allowed and the credit cards have been canceled. And neither one know anything about Indonesia because they worked in accounting.
Thats probably why we don't see where they have determined the source of the cesium yet. You think it would be easy to follow the radioactive material back to its source.
You'd think that would be kinda important.
"Indonesia" is a pretty big area. Are all shrimp from Indonesia suspect now? Do I need to have a Geiger counter to test all my shrimp from Indonesia now? It's promising that it was caught in shipping. But Should I start testing all my foodstuffs that come from Indonesia? Or from anywhere?
We'll find out. Next year maybe. After they hire back enough workers to actually deal with something like this.

The waters from the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic coast produce some of the tastiest and cleanest shrimp in the world, and both are very accessible to everyday customers.
Asia have always produced disgusting shrimps -
Oct. 17, 2012 -- "Would you like flies with that?" Seafood raised on pig feces and crawling with flies is being sold to U.S. consumers, according to a new report.
Imagine the smell.

I have avoided all food products from Asia for a long time, even wild-caught animals are saturated with sodium tripolyphosphate.

Which country has the most open defecation? The highest total number of people live in India, followed by Nigeria and Indonesia. The highest rate of open defecation among urban population has Sao Tome and Principe, with more than 40%, among the rural population Eritrea is leading with almost 90%.

I'm slipping from the subject, though. What I mean is: Have they checked the sewage and the pigs and people for cesium contamination? Each of these is a food source for the shrimps. The sea around there is rich with excrement. Imagine the smell. Coming soon to YOUR beach soon, courtesy of s-hole migrations!
+ There's still tons of corium melting downward in Japan.

They probably would if they had enough personnel.
Trumpy fired 20% of the FDA workforce.
Best Buy a Geiger Counter and test your food yourself. You probably should one in your "bug out bag" anyway. Along with iodine pills and water purification kits.

ONLY THE WEAK (without Geiger Counters) WILL FAIL!
