NASA researchers have discovered the strongest evidence yet that ancient life existed on Mars. A "potential biosignature" was detected in rock by Mars rover Perseverance that formed between 3.2 and 3.8 billion years ago. Scientists have studied the findings for more than a year and have been unable to find another explanation that could explain the discovery.
