Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

The family of a college student killed in a Cybertruck car crash has sued Tesla, claiming the design of the vehicle's doors were a "death trap." Krysta Tsukahara (19) and two others were killed when the driver of the vehicle rammed into a tree in Piedmont, CA in Nov 2024. Ms. Tsukahara, a college student, was riding in the backseat and became trapped inside the Tesla Cybertruck as it burst into flames. She was unable to find the manual door releases when the vehicle's battery caught fire. The doors are electronically powered, but when there's no power, riders must use the manual door releases, according to the vehicle's owner manual. To do this from the rear seat, the passenger must remove the rubber mat on the bottom of the rear door's pocket, pull the mechanical release cable forward and then push the door open.

According to the filing, the Tesla Cybertruck "lacked a functional, accessible, and conspicuous manual door release mechanism, fail-safe, or other redundant system for emergency egress." Felon Musk is racking up a small, but growing, body count of victims killed by his poorly designed, over-priced mobile death traps. The 2025 Tesla Cybertruck starts at $72,235 and goes up to $117,235. Recently in Germany three people were barbequed alive when they couldn't escape their Tesla after a crash: Three Killed in Tesla Death-Mobile. Incredibly, the worst person in the world just received a stunning pay package worth as much as $1 trillion. Young Krysta Tsukahara (pictured below) and the other two victims were just starting out their lives when the Tesla death mobile killed them; unclear is how the college student driving the car was able to afford such an expensive vehicle or if the lethal contraption belonged to the parents.

Certainly that is the easiest thing to do when the vehicle is on fire and filling with smoke.

I won't ride in these death traps. Why does everything have to be over engineered to the point that it is deadly?

There was an article a couple of years ago of an elderly man who cooked to death inside his Corvette because the door would not unlock because the battery cable was loose and disconnected. www.fox6now.com

Those don't break most car glass since 2017 as I recall.

But it's still her fault for not carrying a gun in America to shoot out the window.

Felon Musk whacked a nice-looking young woman with his arson job. Which crime family does Musk work for?

One-third of new cars now have laminated side windows, making escaping in an emergency nearly impossible.
