U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement plans to establish a "National Call Center" in Nashville, Tennessee, to help law enforcement track unaccompanied migrant children for potential removal, according to an agency contracting document.

In the notice posted to a government contracting website on Tuesday, ICE officials said there is an "immediate need" to establish the call center, which is expected to receive and process "6,000 to 7,000 calls per day" regarding the locations of minors.

"The move comes amid the Trump administration's effort to target unaccompanied migrant children as part of its broader immigration crackdown.

Last month, the Department of Homeland Security sent a notice to legal service providers saying it is offering unaccompanied migrant children a "one-time resettlement" stipend of $2,500 to voluntarily depart the U.S.

Earlier this year, Immigration and Customs and Enforcement directed agents to track down unaccompanied migrant children in the United States."

My main concern is that ICE has not appeared to show any manner of concern for those it targets, and now it seems to be targeting children in order to make the deportation goals set by Mr Stephen Miller.

Children.

Children.

How do children fit into the "worst of the worst" slogan that Pres trump has been using to justify ICE's behavior?

Absolute terror': Day care teacher detained by ICE agents on Chicago's North Side

An SUV of federal agents followed the teacher's vehicle to the day care, then proceeded to follow her into the building " where children were in attendance at the time.

Video from the scene captured two agents dragging the teacher from the day care, taking her into custody. According to Congressman Mike Quigley, the agents did not have a warrant.

"It's just absolute terror. Why are you at a day care at 7 in the morning? This isn't right. This isn't American. This isn't who we are. It's an absolute travesty," said Adam Gonzalez, a lawyer and rapid response team member.

Those sentiments were also echoed by Alderman Matt Martin, who was quickly alerted on what happened.

"ICE agents followed her in and violently detained her. There was a child inside, they identified it as a school. Her sister was on site and showed her paperwork. ICE took her away, nevertheless," said Ald. Martin.

He added, "This is truly horrible. You have the president who will say we're taking the worst of the worst off the streets' and there's more to come in Chicago' and like, what else? They've come to hospitals. They've come to day cares. What's next?"

... "First They Came" (German: Als sie kamen lit.'When they came', or Habe ich geschwiegen lit.'I did not speak out'), is the poetic form of a 1946 post-war confessional prose piece by the German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemller (1892"1984).

It indirectly condemns complicity of German intellectuals and clergy following the Nazis' rise to power and subsequent incremental purging of their chosen targets. Many variations and adaptations in the spirit of the original have been published in the English language. ...
