President Donald Trump and his advisers have drawn renewed criticism amid reports indicating that they have discussed using emergency powers to expand federal control over state elections. Voting rights advocates warned the move could undermine state authority and public trust. The reports cite DHS official Heather Honey, who suggested Trump could declare a national emergency to influence election procedures.

Unless SCOTUS puts the kabash on "national emergencies" in name only with the tariffs case, expect this type of thing to increase as they are now clearly being signaled that the populace won't go along willingly.

I'll bet there were a few very early morning meetings looking at what the Tuesday election meant and where it indicated the electorate stood in regard to MAGA and their "governance."

Just like how not collecting unemployment stats means unemployment isn't a problem, not allowing valid elections will make public opinion a non-existent problem.

And the worst part (my prediction) is that they will be blatantly ridiculous with it to appease Trump's ego.

They'll give him a landslide election that is patently ridiculous on its face so that all his claims of a big beautiful win can finally be "true" even though the results will never remotely match any semblance of reality.
