Fed Judge Orders Trump to Make FULL Nov SNAP Payments
"People have gone without for too long," US District Judge John McConnell said during a hastily called hearing Thursday. "Not making payments to them for even another day is simply unacceptable."

"McConnell's order comes days after the administration, in response to an earlier order from him, said it would provide only partial food stamp benefits for November by using $4.65 billion in a contingency fund maintained by the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, the formal name for food stamps.
The judge said the administration had not worked fast enough to ensure money reached the program's millions of recipients and that it had acted "arbitrarily and capriciously" when it decided earlier this week that it would not provide the full benefits this month."

Maybe I am missing something about the Constitution, maybe Corky or her friend Speakssofty can correct me but my understanding is the House of Representatives is where the origination of the peoples money is appropriated, who elected this Judge to be the countries mother?

the House of Representatives is where the origination of the peoples money is appropriated
And yet, Trump sent $40 billion the his buddy Javi in Argentina.
The House of Representatives is no longer functioning. At this point the only way it will resume is if democrats win it back in 2026.
Otherwise what do republicans gain by reopening it?
Perhaps if they win a majority in 2026 they can reopen long enough to hand billionaires another tax cut.

Still the ugly misogynist... do all Chinese think that implying a man is a woman is an insult? Or are you not as smart as most Chinese?
Your grasp of US law is like a weakling's handshake; not impressive at all.

Reading the article is fundamental. The court ordered payment from a SNAP "contingency fund" and "additional dollars held by USDA." Those funds were appropriated by Congress but the Buffoon arbitrarily, thus illegally, refused to distribute them.
... who elected this Judge to be the countries mother?
Those with an understanding of the Constitution know that federal judges and Justices are appointed in accord with Article III which, with Title 28 of the USC, gives them the powers to decide the questions decided here. That you may disagree is wholly irrelevant.

With Trump's immunity decision from the U.S. Supreme Court, I question what method Judge McConnell has at his disposal to enforce his decision.

Last night, SCOTUS granted a temporary stay of the Trump administration's request to stay the orders of the district court and the 3 panel appellate court's decisions until the full appellate court could weigh in. The Justice that granted the stay: Jackson!
What's the rational: deference to the POTUS? If so, that would make no sense what so ever. Why would you defer to an administration acting on the behalf of a criminal? an adjudicated sexual assaulter? an adjudicated tax cheat? a serial liar? a self admitted sexual predator?
