Trump is not going to be happy with Mr. Putin.

In fact, Trump might think that Mr. Putin is stabbing him in the back.

Trump desperately needs to end this war (or at least give the appearance) because he needs something to brag about between now and November 2026.

Apparently, Mr. Putin doesn't seem to give a hoot about the Republican election dilemma in 2026. Putin is hanging Trump out to dry.
