NYT: The Obama Presidential Library That Isn’t

The Obama Presidential Center is a "center" not a library, Obama privatized the archive and does not allow the National Archives and Records Admin to run it.

An oldie to be sure, but following Obama's X post on the "center" opening in June 2026. I found this oddity, I was repeatedly told by every Lumper here that everything the President did was National Archive material, for the public good? Whats with this?

BTW: love how NYT avoids calling it what it is, this is another example of equivocation.

Now that Pres Trump controls the National Archives, my guess woyuld be that any records of the Obama era would likely be disappeared.
