The late Lt. Gen. Fanil Sarvarov was the head of the operational Training Department of the General Staff of the Russian armed forces.

The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case into the incident and suspects the Ukrainian special services (SSU).

This operation has the hallmarks of the Ukrainian SSU, which has been improving and expanding its capabilities inside Russia, combining local resistance cells with seasoned intelligence cadre.

An international arrest warrant issued by the ICC for war crimes remains active for Russia President Vladimir Putin. An indictment is merely an allegation. Mr. Putin is presumed innocent until proven guilty in an international tribunal to be held for him in the Hague at a future date.

In other news about Russian army generals, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russian Army Colonel-General Sergei Kuzovlev, who recently briefed Vladimir Putin on the occupation of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, went missing and may have been found dead recently.

On 20 Nov, Kuzovlev briefed Putin that the Russian army had fully occupied Kupiansk. However, on 12 Dec, Zelensky visited the city and recorded a video, disproving Russia's claims of full occupation, clowning Putin in the process.

Since its brutal invasion of Ukraine in Feb 2022, the Kremlin has lost approximately one dozen flag officers, four at the front line.

Lt. Gen. Fanil Sarvarov joins several Russian army generals who have been rendered ineffective by the Ukrainian SBU espionage and sabotage network operating inside Mother Russia.

By contrast, when the USSR invaded and occupied Afghanistan (1979 - 1989), a total of four Soviet generals were killed (and 15,000 soldiers were KIA).

The Ukrainian SBU will continue to remove high-value chess pieces off the board one at a time.

@#5 ... What? They can't afford up armored SUVs for their brass? ...

Ya mean like Dir Patel's tax-payer-funded new BMW super car?

And, if I may ask... why a German car instead of a US-made car?

"why a German car instead of a US-made car?"

You tell me. Is there even such a thing?

On the other subject, Patel is unofficially, maybe, sorta, kinda, almost like dictator military Brass.

No doubt he and his girlfriend have received assorted threats. But then, maybe they wouldn't be such a tempting target if they avoided drunken parties.

@#7 ... You tell me. Is there even such a thing? ...

From what I've heard, there do exist such American-made vehicles (GMC, Ford and such) but they were quoted to be so much more expensive than the BMW X5 sports cars that Dir Patel wanted.

That raises some questions ...

For starters, is Dir Patel blatantly saying that US car manufacturers are unable to provide a competitive vehicle to the one supplied by a German manufacturer?

And, perhaps as a follow-up question, I might ask ... WTF does Dir Patel need a vehicle like this for?

There's this ...

Kash Patel Purchases New Fleet of Luxury Armored BMWs to Be 'Less Conspicuous' During Outings
people.com

... FBI Director Kash Patel is flouting tradition by traveling in a luxury car instead of the department's standard-issue SUVs.

MS NOW reported on Monday, Dec. 22, that Patel, 45, pressured the FBI to purchase him a special, armored BMW X5, with sources saying he felt it made him "less conspicuous on his outings."

While the State Department contracts similar vehicles to transport foreign dignitaries in high-risk environments around the world, FBI personnel have traditionally been driven in a Chevrolet Suburban.

FBI spokesperson Ben Williamson confirmed the purchase of the X5s for Patel's use, saying, "Government agencies, including the FBI, routinely evaluate, replace and update vehicle fleets based on usage, security needs or budgetary decisions. The specific decisions referenced in this article were evaluated partly as a way to save taxpayers millions by picking cheaper selections or making cost structures more efficient."

The FBI did not, however, provide documents showing the cost of the new vehicle, prove that it was more cost-effective than using the pre-existing fleet of Suburbans, or explain why a new vehicle was needed. Public information about a fully-armored X5 isn't available online; however, Car and Driver noted that a similarly outfitted Cadillac Escalade went for $350,000 in 2019. ...

So I ask once again ...

Why?

Maybe Vice President Vance is the one who should be shopping for a private armored car as he and Erika Kirk finish Charlie's "Turning Point" tour together. Vance's wife looks like she could get really nasty any day now. She has her sights on being the next First Lady.

But then, Erika Kirk could be thinking the same thing.

Why? Apparently, everyone is satisfied with the budget committee's explanation.

I don't really much care. There are more important things to consider. Plus, Patel can't take it with him when he gets canned anyway.

War is a stupidity we should have eliminated a long time ago...but then, we have a "dear leader" who ignores human caused global warming that is actually taking Florida coastlines, so stupid is what we do in America these days, if there are profits involved who cares about the hell the children born today will have to survive.

This looks different than hiw most Russian generals die, by falling from tall buildings.

But hear me out. At least some part of him did go out that window.
