President Donald Trump said during Tuesday's White House press briefing that he feels bad about Renee Good's death. Good, 37, was shot and killed on Jan. 7 by a federal officer in Minneapolis as she sat in her SUV amid citywide protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity. Tricia McLaughlin, a public affairs official with the Department of Homeland Security, said in a recent interview that Good was "stalking and harassing law enforcement" for hours that morning, and she "gunned the vehicle" toward several ICE agents in the street. Officials in Minnesota and Good's family have disputed the Trump administration's description of the shooting. |
