U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday said he was working with Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry to send a hospital boat to Greenland, a Danish territory that Trump has said he wants to acquire. Trump announced the plan on social media moments before hosting a dinner for Republican governors at the White House, where he sat next to and chatted with Landry. Neither the White House nor Landry's office responded to queries about the post, whether the ship had been requested by Denmark or Greenland and which sick people needed help. The Department of War had no immediate comment.

Stinky should send the hospital ship to South Carolina to treat all of the paste-eating MAGAts with measles.

Greenlanders enjoy excellent universal healthcare through Denmark.

Dummkopf Trumpf is mimicking what China did last year when Beijing sent a military hospital ship to Africa. Somebody on his staff told him about it.

The Chinese ship sailed into several ports along the east, south, and west coasts and treated patients for free, including surgical operations. The ship stayed one or two full weeks in Capetown Suid-Afrika.

But those port calls were coordinated with the host nation countries and many patients were already vetted and triaged for free treatment weeks beforehand.

The Africans became eternally grateful to China.

Dummkopf Trumpf's assistance to Africa: Withdrawing the US from WHO, dismantling USAID, destroying food, medicine, and prophylactics destined for them in warehouses.

As of late January, the 1,000-bed USNS Mercy was firmly in drydock at Alabama Shipyard in Mobile, where it has been undergoing scheduled maintenance since July 2025.

This hospital ship is in dry dock and, despite Trump saying that it is already on its way (Hallucination or lie? You pick), is not going any damned place.

Thank you to Greenland for providing emergency medical care to a US sailor on board the submarine, since we did not have adequate resources in the area to treat him. I'm sorry that our president felt the need to cover up our shortcomings with a deranged ghost hospital ship post.

This hospital ship is in dry dock

Google Earth shows the ship at the dockyard, but not in drydock. Unknown date on the imagery.

Greenland Rejects Trump Hospital Ship, Criticizes US Health Care
www.newsweek.com

... Greenland's prime minister has publicly rejected U.S. President Donald Trump's suggestion to send a U.S. hospital ship to the island, saying the semi-autonomous Danish territory already provides free health care to its citizens and does not need outside medical assistance.

"It's going to be a no thank you from here," JensFrederik Nielsen wrote in a pointed statement on Facebook Sunday, saying Greenland's publicly funded health care system was a "deliberate choice" and contrasting it with the U.S. "where it costs money to go to the doctor. He added that Greenland remained open to cooperation, but wanted Washington to pursue dialogue rather than "random outbursts on social media." ...
