Lincoln Memorial pool will be made ‘American flag blue’

U.S. President Donald Trump said Thursday that he plans to cover the Lincoln Memorials reflecting pool in "American flag blue," marking the latest addition to his efforts to revamp several government buildings and monuments. Trump, in a video shared on Truth Social on Thursday, called the more than 100-year-old monument, which he noted was the site of Martin Luther King Jr.'s iconic 1963 "I Have a Dream" speech, "filthy dirty" and said it "leaked like a sieve." The 2,000-foot-long structure is currently empty as it undergoes cleaning for the America 250 celebrations.

Of course, this gaudy dumbf*&^ thinks making such a historical place looks better as a cheap above ground pool.

We're talking about the guy who bought decorations from Home Depot, spray painted them gold then claimed they weren't painted fixtures from a regular store because you "can't fake gold paint."

idk, there are images using the gray bottom, that seem to be pretty ratty, but I don't know if the pool is filtered or not, doesn't seem like it. In those cases the bottom of the pool doesn't matter.

So long as its deeper blue per the post above it should be alright, but I am sure you guys will scream it looks terrible.
