As I calculated last Oct 2025 during the Israeli genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza, each death was the equivalent to 70 - 75 votes for Democratic Party NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani.

This year Zohran Mamdani endorsed three non-AIPAC candidates and each won their June primaries.

Brad Lander easily clobbered his AIPAC opponent Dan Goldman.

Winner Claire Valdez greeting her supporters: "Are we ready to free Palestine? Are we ready to abolish ICE? Are we ready to win Medicare for All, housing for all and unions for all?" Link: Claire Valdez

AIPAC and Israel have become liabilities to the Democratic Party and hence the dozen dead-ender AIPAC Democrats signing that ridiculous "Promise to America." (Code for "Promise to Israel." D'uh).

The Republican Party faces a different AIPAC problem. A small, but vocal group of Republicans are tired of Israeli influence in the GOP and the US government: Tucker Carlson, MTG, former D/NCTC Joe Kent, and James Fishback in Florida. Some of these Republicans are also antisemites, undermining their credibility.

In US presidential election years, average voter turnout is ~60% of the eligible population; in midterm election years, average voter turnout is ~40% of the eligible population.

Many Americans see a Republican AIPAC candidate or a Democratic AIPAC candidate which does nor reflect their values, so they stay home on those critical November Tuesdays.

The sooner both political parties rid themselves of AIPAC and supporting Israel's vicious ethnic cleansing in Gaza and the West Bank, the sooner both parties will see an increase in voter participation.

"FFS! Will sumbody puh-leeze get this &%#%+) AIPAC fetter off my foot!"

It will be a haul, unwashing Americans brains about "socialism" from the idiotic tropes socialism's enemies have used to misdefine the term.

However ...

77 million Americans voted for Donald Trump after he was impeached twice, convicted of 34 felonies, adjudicated a sexual abuser, had a children's cancer charity closed down on him for ripping it off, on the grounds that would somehow "make America great again."(No wonder Old Yeller proclaims his love for "the uneducated." (For Trump, "uneducated" means "stupid.")

So it seems a lot of very impressionable people walk among us.
