What are you doing with that 1.5GB of RAM?

Running Slack.

Great cartoon at the link.

Has the increased capacity and power of computers actually benefited Americans, or just the tech billionaires?

I bought a 2K RAM expander for my VIC-20 but there was no software available to use it.

Back in the late 1970's, I had a computer (assembled from a kit) with 64k of RAM. The CPU ran at the astounding speed of 2MHz.

It ran CP/M. A CP/M that I had to reload each time I started the PC up. (i.e., there was no disk drive to boot from)

I was able to convince it to communicate over the modem, at a whopping 300 bits per second.

So much fun back then, exploring.
