The lesson we learn from the Trump Administration: Dont be timid with your corruption. Grift *billions* off your position and you are safe, but try to grift a mere $100,000 off your position and you are fired.

More from the poll ...

... Most Americans say President Trump has prioritized his personal financial interests and the interests of people close to him since taking office again in 2025. Far fewer say he has prioritized the country as a whole or people like them. Four in 10 believe he has done something illegal and another 18% see his actions as unethical but not illegal, though views diverge sharply by party.

More adults see Trump as focused on his own business interests and those of his inner circle than on the country as a whole or people like them. A majority, 56%, say Trump has prioritized his personal business interests "a lot," and 54% say the same about the business interests of his friends and family. By comparison, only 23% say he has prioritized the country overall "a lot," and just 11% say he has prioritized people like them "a lot." Half of Americans say Trump has not prioritized people like them at all.

Democrats and independents overwhelmingly say Trump has prioritized his own business interests and those of his friends and family "a lot" or "some," and about half of Republicans agree. Republicans are much more likely than Democrats or independents to say the president has prioritized the country overall or people like them. ...

If you thought a sociopath billionaire was going to take care of anyone but himself, you're a special kind of stupid.

Poll: Trump Has Prioritized His Personal Business Interests

And he is going to do EVERYTHING possible to protect those interests. Those interests will become threatened when/if Democrats take control of either either house of Congress. He is going to do EVERYTHING (legal and illegal) possible to prevent that from happening. Illegal immigration will be the rubric for all of his shenanigans. It started with illegals receiving mail in ballots. That failed so next it will be chaos at the polls to prevent illegals from voting followed by the seizures of ballots because illegals voted so that the vote can't be certified at the county level. Finally it will be failure to certify the vote at the federal level! All along the way, he has the hope that there will be massive demonstrations which he will declare to be violent so that he can call out the National Guard and declare Martial Law.

This will be a rough election! If he takes those actions and Democrats STILL prevail, the FIRST thing they must do is impeach and convict his butt while passions are still red hot.

Two more years of this misery...thanks MAGA. One wonders just how many stupid wars we will be forced to engage in, how bankrupt our country will be before he leaves, as he left his bankrupt casinos... richer for the destruction he caused.
