President Donald Trump, who cries election fraud when he loses, has been a massive promoter of O'Keefe's deceptively edited videos over the years. In 2016, O'Keefe was even paid by Trump's foundation to produce videos meant to hurt Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
