Once again, the US has vetoed a resolution against a genocide.
We should be leading the charge, declaring a no-fly zone over Gaza, cutting all aid to Israel, preparing to send in UN peacekeepers.
You want a plan for a lasting peace? Israel doesn't get another penny of aid until they either withdraw to the Green Line and recognize Palestine as a state or they come up with a plan to transform into a singular secular state with full citizenship rights for Palestinians, right of return for any Palestinians who have left since 1949, and an end to the current religion-based right of return.
One state, two state, they can negotiate which one. But pick one, implement it, or they should never see another penny from the rest of the world. Until they do, treat them like the world treated the other apartheid nation, South Africa.
There are lots of Americans who would love to be able to do that.
They don't like it when you tell them that their imaginary sky wizard isn't real.
