I'm not sure why he bothered. Sure, we need all of this. But it's not going to happen, not any time soon.
I'd have gone with a mandatory retirement age of 75 instead of 18 year terms. But hey, if we're rewriting the constitution, every part of our federal government needs to be reformed. Term limits all around, an end to gerrymandering, districting the senate instead of election by state, replacing the president with a 10 person directly elected executive committee with staggered 10 year terms so a new person is elected and an old one retires every year, proportional representation to break the two-party system, a 100% tax on any outside income for life for any executive committee member, senator, or representative, a method for the people to directly initiate laws and constitutional amendments... the list of things we could do to fix this mess is long.
The one thing congress could possibly do is pass an enforceable code of ethics for the SCrOTUS, with actual criminal penalties and removal of that code from their jurisdiction. But I can't see the Rethuglicans going along with it.
I'm really looking forward to the day this pyramid scheme collapses and the crypto-bros become the crypto-brokes.
