It is amazing how depleted Russia is quickly becoming. Trump is a rush to save his butt lover. Over $100 Billion in Gold Bullion is gone from Russia's national wealth fund. The reserves of Russia's wealth fund are down to about 1/4 of what they were at the beginning of the war and primarily in Yuan. The rate of burn has only increased year over year too... Once that is gone Russia is borrowing a lot and fast.

This is all by design. A replay of 80s farm economics, remember who was in control then? What will happen is they will be forced to sell off their farms to major corporations. That will be more sour grapes they will blame Democrats for even though it has been Democrats who kept their subsidies while the GOP tried to repeatedly cut or eliminate them. I genuinely don't understand farmers and I grew up among them.

Mike Levin is CORRECT. This is what I have been saying all along.

CONGRESS controls the purse strings constitutionally period. These unilateral moves by Trump, Musk and the other Project 2025ers are unconstitutional. Not just in interpretation. P. E. R. I. O. D. This is just another Reason that Clinton's shrinking of Government was the correct method. Musk laughs at the chaos and harm caused. He couldn't give a ---- and neither could Trump. "Defend why you should have a job" is the stupidest thing ever. Not to mention job performance being cited in all the firings. That opens up thousands of wrongful termination lawsuits. Why? First the comment by musk is just stupid. There are a billion "eligible" Social Security Numbers... For a "smart" guy - dumb comment.

After that you have you don't have to be a citizen to have a SSN. You just have to have worked in the USA, legally of course, or become a resident of the US to get one. You have 240k receiving benefits alone and millions more with a SSN.

Finally they hold the records of the deceased. You have about 3 million people dying a year in the US.

Clinton axed 366k jobs in the military alone. Just saying.

Clinton's downsizing was organized. We have been over Clinton's numbers in the government for decades but not hugely. It is interesting to see how agency numbers have fluctuated over time. It's also interesting to note that since Clinton's time the US population has grown abut roughly 18% but government employee head count has only grown 2%. Also it is amazing how much Congressman impact these staffing levels.

So when you look at the Clinton Era, Clinton had an actual plan. It was negotiated with the GOP and Democrats. The plan went so far as to pass Congress and get enacted into law. *gasp* It rolled out over several years so as to not impact government function. This vs hack and slash with no rhyme or reason. We are having to ask people to come back to work because they were fired without the idiot in charge understanding how important they were.

I dare say strengthening. They caused us and our allies to actually rebuild production capabilities in preparation for wars to come in this totalitarian forming society. That includes making weapons put in storage for decades that lines had been shutdown on while retirees could still be found who knew how to do it.

I didn't realize it was that bad. Look Tesla started with a good premise and was full of people with a goal. The problem is they always had a dictator at the helm. He built the company but doesn't seem capable of running it. That goes along with his current foray into government.
