First of all, there's still the capital gains tax, which is the primary means those folks earn income.

Then there's the fact that it's 2.5%. It's peanuts compared to the cuts that have happened in the past.

Is subservience to one all-powerful POTUS really in line with "small government conservatism"? Or is "small government conservatism" the bulls*&^ we always new it was?

I'll never knock the push for cleaner, healthier eating and lifestyles. I even take certain supplements for known deficiencies I've had measured via blood work.

And my wife is a fan of one of Casey's books and we even bought the companion cookbook because, again, healthy eating is a must.

But where I depart from these loons is the assertion that if we all eat well and take their supplements all of a sudden chronic disease will vanish and we'll suddenly no longer have to worry about heart disease or cancer.

That's nonsense. We live far longer now than we have typically for the majority of our evolutionary timescale. Of course, we're going to see far more chronic diseases associated with the dysfunction and degeneration of our body systems that occur naturally with age.

I am the only one on this website that actually supplies links to back up my data. It is tiring so I will just use the same 'trust me bro' that you -------- use going forward.
