From the FDA: "Bedner Growers, Inc. of Boynton Beach, FL is voluntarily recalling cucumbers sold at Bedner's Farm Fresh Market between 29 Apr and 14 May 2025 because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis."

At least 60 Palestinians were killed and 284 others were wounded over the past 24 hours as the IDF prepares for a ground invasion of the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian death toll since Oct 2023 is now 54,381; 124,381 people are injured or maimed, like the man missing an eye in the photo below. The majority of the victims are women and children. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said the IDF operation will lead to a complete takeover of the territory: "We are finally going to conquer the Gaza Strip," he said. In March 2025, the American taxpayer expedited delivery of four billion dollars in military assistance to Israel. Ireland defends its position that Israel is carrying out genocide in the Gaza Strip. #1: The silver lining in this dark cloud is that some parts of the USG under the Trumpf junta are still functioning, like the FDA.
But wouldn't it be something if Dotard Trumpf's guests at Mar-a-Lago got sick from these Florida-based cucumbers? nypost.com

What a joke. The Trumpf junta maximizes ICE raids with photo ops. Look at the unblurred smirks on the faces of the fascists: s.yimg.com
#2: Yup. And "medical bankruptcy" is a term that is generally unknown outside the US. Argentinians are doing better than Americans in terms of health care:
Around half of Argentina's residents make use of its public health services, which provide free hospital, medical, dental, and palliative care as well as free rehab, medical transport, and prosthetics. The only pay contributions required are for everyday prescriptions and chronic conditions. Access to this universal care, regardless of your residency status, is all great news if you're not in a hurry. The downside is that even though the quality of care can be good, waiting lists for public healthcare can be frustratingly long, which is why so many Argentinians and the majority of expats seek their healthcare from other sectors.Source: internationalliving.com
Corporate shill Bill Maher takes Dotard Trumpf's side in the Harvard University funding controversy, which should come as no surprise. Bill Maher (and Joe Rogaine) are both defenders of the status quo who have made fortunes for themselves peddling distractions and deflections from America's real problems. Both of them are economic Judas Goats whose interests are aligned with the oligarchs, not with the common man. In fact, both of them enjoy tremendous oligarchic wealth, so why would they want to disrupt that?
