America's eyes were opened on that day about who our new President actually was/is! He has continued to demonstrate his sympathy for and respect for dictators around the world throughout his times in office. His relatioship with mass murderer Vladimir Putin has been very alarming and has contributed to suspicions that that he intends to become a "Dicktator for Life" and an enemy of democracy just like his mentor! In truth thfey hate "Obamacare" because of the nickname "Obamacare" they started calling the Affordable Care Act" out of their fear that it would become an important part of the Social Safety Net for Americans; which it has and the Democrats are refusing to just quietly let it die by helping to pass a bill to reopen the government that doesn't include the subsidies that make the Affordable Care Act" affordable for millions of Americans which is the Republican's sneaky plan to destroy the Act that millions of Americans depend on for healthcare! Every Senior Citizen on Medicare and Social Security should be supporting the Democrats right now on this fight because, make no mistake about it, if the Republicans win on this they WILL be coming after Medicare and Social Security next. Remember Trump saying he's going after all the "Democrats programs?" Medicare are both Democratic programs and his goal is to kill them before he leaves office so he can steal the SS trust fund to pay for the tax cuts he is giving his billionaire buddies! This is not just a battle about the ACA or "Obamacare" this is about much more! Every Senior Citizen on SS and Medicare should be involved in this fight, and their families too! This is a Class War and the enemy of the people has control of all three branches of government, at least until after the midterm elections so you can expect that they will fight with every tool they have to gut the Social Safetey Net that "We the People" pay for ourselves.

Healthcare unlike widget manufacturing is not most efficiently provided by for profit insurance companies . The ACA was an attempt to retain the capitalist model functioning in the U.S. virtually all other modern democratic nations have moved away from for profit insurance companies and the added costs of that profit and moved to socialized healthcare like Medicare for all! Attempts to tinker with the present for-profit system fail because healthcare isn't a commodity that can be mass produced. America has been brain washed for many decades to prevent consideration of a healthcare system without greedy insurance companies involved but as long as they are it will be impossible to fix it.

Honestly, from the posts of Trump supporters and other Republicans here the cost of healthcare for millions of working class American families isn't a valid reason to refuse to.
