Oil and gas producers in the US will not raise output significantly in the coming years despite calls from President-Elect Donald Trump to "drill, baby, drill," said Exxon Mobil Corp.'s Upstream President Liam Mallon. "I think a radical change is unlikely because the vast majority, if not everybody, is primarily focused on the economics of what they're doing," Mallon said on Tuesday at a conference in London. read more
@#14 ... You haven't figured out that the parties have traded positions and the Democrats are the party of the rich and powerful. ...
Back in Trump 1.0, his obedient Congress passed a tax bill that moved $2trillion dollars to the already wealthy. And now in Trump 2.0, he wants to renew that bill.
Not one Democrat voted for that bill back in 2017 when the Republicans passed it.
So... what else yer got?

I have come to indecision
Someone is pushing me
All the cities, subways, rivers
No direction left for me
I have lost my way home early
I don't care cause I won't stay there
All I hear is this silent whisper
Will you be here again?
[Chorus: Anka Wolbert]
Imagination takes the shadows away
Every day I've been without you
Imagination keeps the shadows away
Every day I stay without you
Too many times - without you

S.C. town's former police chief takes new job after he, entire force resign
www.wmbfnews.com
... The former police chief of a South Carolina town now without a police force has a new job.
Records from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy state former McColl Police Chief Bob Hale is now an officer with the Bennettsville Police Department.
Those records, obtained Tuesday by WMBF News, state his first day with the department was on Monday.
Bennettville Police Chief Kevin Miller told WMBF News on Tuesday that Hale was hired as the department's new first sergeant of training. Miller added that Hale interviewed for the job more than a month ago.
"We did not conduct this process any different from any other hire we've made for the department," said Miller.
Hale resigned as police chief in McColl just over a year after taking over the role. All four of the town's other officers followed suit.
In a public statement, Hale accused McColl leaders of creating a "hostile work environment" and making cuts to department funding. A now-former police investigator with the town also backed up those claims when speaking with WMBF News last week.
McColl Mayor George Garner did not comment on the allegations but said the town would carry on in the officers' absence. ...
