Border czar Tom Homan recently announced that authorities have located more than 145,000 children that had been lost amid the millions of illegal immigrants that poured across the U.S. border under the Biden administration. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Office of Refugee Resettlement at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services have been working tirelessly "to locate more than 300,000 unaccompanied alien children that the Biden administration turned over to unvetted sponsors, lost track of, and weren't looking [for]," Homan said in a Jan. 30 post on X. I know this poll is a couple of years old, but it's results still havent changed. 76% of U.S. adults favor the concept of early voting. Two other election law policies are supported by even more Americans -- requiring photo identification to vote (84%) and providing proof of citizenship when registering to vote for the first time (83%). Smaller majorities of Americans -- 60% each -- favor automatic voter registration, whereby citizens are registered when they do business with state agencies such as the Department of Motor Vehicles, and sending absentee ballot applications to all eligible voters.

Mike Johnson put on his theologian hat and broke down scripture for the Vicar of Christ. So you want me to give you a theological dissertation? All right. I tell you what. I'll post it on my website later today, but let me give you a quick summary," Johnson responded before launching into a soliloquy insisting that the Bible says "assimilation is expected and anticipated and proper." "When someone comes into your country, comes into your nation, they do not have the right to change its laws or to change a society. They're expected to assimilate. We haven't had a lot of that going on," he said.

Authorities in Los Angeles on Tuesday touted the results of a statewide crackdown on human trafficking, announcing the arrests of more than 600 suspects and saying more than 170 victims were rescued as part of the operation. The weeklong campaign was part of an annual effort spearheaded by the Los Angeles Regional Human Trafficking Task Force, and 80 local, state and federal law enforcement agencies looking to curb a crime that officials said targets the most vulnerable. "This is a multibillion-dollar industry," said Los Angeles County Dist. Atty. Nathan Hochman. "It is nothing less than modern slavery." Read more

Connecticut could see legislation proposed and passed this year that would limit law enforcement's use of cameras that can automatically log and track license plates of passing cars. The possible regulation comes as lawmakers are questioning whether the sharing of data collected by cameras with federal authorities is in violation of state law.

WASHINGTON " The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) recommends that gender-affirming surgeries be delayed until a patient is at least 19 years old, the group announced in a statement Tuesday. The statement, made by the group's board of directors, represents a break from major U.S. medical groups that have supported the care, and applies to facial, chest, and genital procedures performed for transgender and nonbinary patients. The group, a professional association with more than 11,000 physician members, emphasized that the statement was not a clinical practice guideline but instead "professional guidance" for care the group said was "rapidly evolving and controversial." Russia launches one of its biggest airstrikes on Ukraine, hitting power plants and homes as Zelenskyy urges more air defence before Abu Dhabi talks.

Russia fired around 450 drones and 70 missiles at Ukraine overnight in one of the largest attacks of its ongoing all-out war, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Tuesday, shortly before the representatives of the two countries were due to attend US-brokered talks in Abu Dhabi.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro, the top federal prosecutor in the District of Columbia, is facing widespread criticism from conservatives after she said in a Fox News interview Monday that anyone who brings a gun into the nation's capital would face jail time. You bring a gun into the district, you mark my words, you're going to jail," Pirro said in the interview. "I don't care if you have a license in another district, and I don't care if you're a law-abiding gun owner somewhere else. You bring a gun into this district, count on going to jail and hope you get the gun back." Her comments prompted swift backlash from a slew of Republican lawmakers and gun rights advocates, marking another rare divide among conservatives who typically are in lockstep on gun policies.

Last week was National School Choice Week, an annual celebration of how giving families choices for their kids' education opens up all kinds of opportunities. Thanks to efforts at both the state and federal levels, more families than ever have access to public and private schools. (Well, only those who believe that parents know what's best for their own children celebrate these developments. So count out teachers union boss Randi Weingarten, who has devoted her life to limiting these choices and propping up the public school monopoly.) On the campaign trail, then-candidate Donald Trump promised to do what he could to expand educational choices, and as president, he has delivered in the first full year of his second term.

Let's take a look at the idea that Jared Kushner is the Antichrist, and I'll refer to the same biblical descriptions as I did previously in my video about Trump being the Antichrist.

Donald Trump's spy chief has locked a potentially explosive whistleblower complaint against her away in a safe as she battles with lawyers about sharing its details with Congress. The exact contents of the complaint against Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard are mired in secrecy but described as possibly posing "grave damage to national security" if disclosed, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday. Filed by an unidentified intelligence official, the complaint against Gabbard also includes a separate allegation involving another federal agency and potential claims of executive privilege concerning the White House.

A Letter to the Left To those who still believe, from someone who once did too. I need to tell you something, and I need you to hear me out before you decide what I am. I was one of you. Not in some distant, theoretical way. I was deeply one of you. I marched. I shared the posts. I believed, with total conviction, that the progressive vision of the world was not only morally correct but self-evidently so. Anyone who disagreed was ignorant or malicious. I had Trump Derangement Syndrome, but then, I complained about all politicians. I couldn't see it was a case of choosing the best of'. I had no middle ground. And that's what finally shook me awake: the realisation that I had stopped allowing for middle ground. My thinking had become entirely black and white. I had radicalised"slowly, invisibly"without even noticing it was happening to me.
