Kristi Noem Ends Book Tour Dogged by Controversy

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) appears to have ended her media tour to promote her new book as both Greg Gutfeld and Dana Bash announced last minute cancellations from the governor.

Comments

Well maybe they wouldn't have goated her into it if she wasn't horsin around.

My concern was less of what she did, but her subsequent deflections of what she did.

How she has appeared to treat the stories in her book is not something that would lead me to believe anything she says in the future.

She's a liar who published lies. She claimed she didn't even know it was in the book yet she recorded the audio version.

@#3 ... She claimed she didn't even know it was in the book yet she recorded the audio version. ...

Wait, what?

Kristi Noem has admitted the Kim Jong Un part of her book isn't true but she read it for her audiobook anyway

... South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem may have been caught fibbing.

The rising Republican politician claimed last week she ordered changes to her soon-to-be-released book, "No Going Back: The Truth on What's Wrong with Politics and How We Move America Forward," after learning it falsely said she met with North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

"I remember when I met with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, I'm sure he underestimated me having no clue about my experience staring down little tyrants. I've been a children's pastor after all," Noem wrote in her book about an interaction with the North Korean leader that never happened, as Politico reported last week.

CBS News' "Face the Nation" host Margaret Brennan pressed Noem on Sunday about the false passage in her book.

"Did you meet Kim Jong Un?" Brennan asked the governor.

"I'm not going to talk about my specific meetings with world leaders, I'm just not going to do that," Noem said. "This anecdote shouldn't have been in the book, and as soon as it was brought to my attention, I made sure that that was adjusted." ...

Wow.

"...as soon as it was brought to my attention, I made sure that that was adjusted."

Let that sink in.

Saying it out loud in the recording studio didn't bring it to her attention.

@#5

Yeah, it sure does seem like intentional lying.

She is a Trumphumpher. She emulates her master.

Always works for him. She figured it was A-OK.

I'll bet she goes home and shoots a dog.

I am not excusing her - I find her to be a rather loathsome individual. It seems to always come out when they lie like this, but in reality I have come to the conclusion they are liars about what really are petty things but might actually sway a handful of voters. I don't see the MAGAts running out to condemn her lies like they have with others. They were her target with those comments. She is the one that sounds like a childish petty tyrant the more things come out.

The old "joke" is how do you know a politician is lying? Their lips are moving.

"...as soon as it was brought to my attention, I made sure that that was adjusted."

She means...as soon as the media pointed out that I was a lying sack of crap.

The difference between her and the fat tub of raping is that he would just ignore the question and move onto another topic. She is not as polished in how to deflect when caught being a compulsive liar.

Let that sink in.

Saying it out loud in the recording studio didn't bring it to her attention.

She thought no one would call her out on it.

The double standard is enormous in that the------------- lies like that on an hourly basis and the media doesn't call him out on it because he drives their ratings.

"Dogged by controversy"

Woof.

"She is not as polished in how to deflect when caught being a compulsive liar."

She will never be a Trumpy "apprentice" that way.

Being able to continue to lie with a straight face even though everyone around you knows you are lying is a prerequisite for being in Trumpy's inner circle.

Apparently.

She interviews like a broken robot.

Kristi Noem ... Dogged by Controversy

Has she considered taking it to the gravel pit and shooting it?

And they call it Puppy Love ...

You would think that someone who is supposed to be a rancher and experienced with guns would be much better at not shooting herself in both feet, repeatedly.

It begs the question if she is really a rancher experienced with guns at all.

I see no reason to take things like that for granted.

Did any of you good liberals know that Gaza is full of puppies?

Some puppies may have been killed there with the 2,000 lb bombs that the US has been supplying and that the Israelis have been dropping on top of houses with 2-year-olds in them.

The goat was using poor Cricket as a human shield.

Every good Nazi understands this.
