Reservoir of Liquid Water Found Deep in Martian Rocks

Scientists have discovered a reservoir of liquid water on Mars - deep in the rocky outer crust of the planet.

More

While there is water frozen at the Martian poles and evidence of vapour in the atmosphere, this is the first time liquid water has been found on the planet.

That's great.

How about now caring about the water here instead of dumping trash, pollution etc into it?

Commie.

Dumping trash (and heavy metals, and potash, and DDT, and...) into rivers and oceans is what made America great.

Yeah lets stop all research until we convince Indians to stop -------- in the Ganges.

Sure, that's exactly what's being proposed. /s

So what? Humans still can't live there.

The fantasy of escaping to mars is just fossil fuel propaganda to encourage us to continue to ruin earth with fossil fuels.

if humanity doesn't implode in on itself beforehand, it will one day colonize mars..

I don't want to live on mars. But I would like to know if life is or was ever there.

I still think the place to go is deep into the Valles Marineris. The atmosphere is a bit "thicker" down there and the water is down there and most likely the caves where life could have found refuge are probably all over the place down there.
