Whatever happened to the 'castle doctrine' in Texas? Oh yes, it's for white people only...

FTA:

Paxton's office has operated an entire unit dedicated to prosecuting cases of voter fraud for years. The unit has a budget of millions of dollars, but closes very few cases. In the last fiscal year, for example, it had a budget of $2.3m and handled just four cases, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Wow, big team with 2.3 million budget and just 4 cases in a state with harsh laws and an eager AG. Voter fraud is just rampant I tell you. Fraud as in the AG is wasting tax payer dollars on pointless witch hunts.

If this were true then Texas would have turned Blue, say in 2000.

Jesus.

" over 1 million fake voters have been removed"

For some of these, it's a good thing: folks die, they move away, and voter rolls SHOULD be cleaned.

That said, there are tens of thousands of people with the same name and birthdate. Nothing scandalous, in fact, it's rather benign:

The most common is Josephina Hernandez, with a birthday of March 16th.

The second most is Patrick Kelly. Can you guess what date?

Others on the list have first names like April, May, June, or Autumn. Another bunch is Noel, Holly, and Jesus.

Here's the problem: there is no way Texas did this without removing more legitimate voters than ALL the vote fraud convictions of the last 25 years.

One other oddity: while I know ~40% is Hispanic, it seems like they comprise 80%+ of the prosecutions. Not that Hispanics are or aren't guilty, merely they're the ones most often prosecuted.

If I didn't know better I'd say Texas has a habit of targeting likely Democrats.

"over 1 million fake voters have been removed"

You're full of schitttt. Folks who moved, or died, and didn't vote, ARE NOT FAKE VOTERS. Fact is, Texas rarely has fake voters, if you look at The Heritage Foundation's compendium on Voter Fraud. Now, it doesn't claim to be a compendium, but it's had a "Got Case?" button up for well over a decade, so the reasonable assumption is, if anyone had proof....

Anyway, I've looked over the last 25 years of TX voter fraud. If you exclude the ELECTIONS THROWN OUT BECAUSE THE REPUBLICANS CHEATED, there are less than 100 votes.

Except for ONE case. The most recent one. Sounds interesting, right?

Well...over 400 ballots got thrown out (of less than 2K)...a HUGE percentage...and why?

Because the OTHERWISE LEGAL voters didn't include THE NEW ID REQUIREMENT. Exactly what critics have been warning. And exactly what the suppresionists wanted and planned.

In fact, their only questions are: were the results more, or less than our model...and why?

It also highlights the suppressionists central lie, which sounds amazingly stupid when you say it out loud: An additional barrier to voting won't be an additional barrier to voting.
