US "civil war" would look like cowardly attacks on the softest of soft targets, in an effort to terrorize the population into giving in.

What I found most interesting is that we don't have the usual divisions of ethnicity or religion. If it kicks off, it'll be entirely political IMO.

Which should scare you given the fact that voter rolls won't be hard to get by either side. You could be a target simply for your voter registration and online comments and activity. Or an event you attended or speech you listened to.
