Mika holds back the tears, admits Trump will likely win

MSNBCs Morning Joe host, Mika Brzezinski, appears to be coming to terms with a looming Donald Trump presidency, and she is having a meltdown. Mik, who appeared to be holding back tears, said that it's fair for Democrats to be "incredibly depressed' and discouraged." She defended Vice President Kamala Harris, claiming that she is doing everything she can to connect with voters.

Comments

Was she wearing Gucci? Smell of Chanel? How about her shoes? God, but you Trump idiots really are in trouble when you're pretending to be a gaggle of middle school gossip girls. Nothing personal and nothing wrong, but it needs to be said (partly because of the loudly expressed anti-gayness among the filthy horde): there's a yuuge closeted gay streak in Trumpist subculture in which the object of the betas adoration so often acts like the has-been Norma Desmond character in "Sunset Boulevard."

Believe me, when I say many of those outside the cult find this absoeffinlootely hilarious.

Most people I've spoken with are voting for Trump.

I'm not sure that means much. But 4 years ago these same people couldn't stand him.

I'm glad democrats are excited and pushing for Harris. They need to get every vote for her they can before the election ends.

But I don't see her winning. I see 2016 being repeated.

Best of luck to democracy.

Because Trump winning will be it's end and the end of America as we've known it our entire lives.

Despite the narrative of everyone in California being a democrat.

More Californians voted for Trump in 2020 than he received in several other states.

Sounds like Trump has it in the bag, BlueWaffles!

MAGAts should take it easy on election day. Maybe wait till after New Year's to cast their votes. Save a lot of needless bother.

I'm not saying California is going to go to Trump.

I'm saying more people are talking about voting for Trump than in 2020 and 2016.

I don't agree with them. But they're free to vote for a worse future for this nation if they want to.

#7 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-10-14 05:56 PM

don't you live in a blue city in a blue state?

Yes. I'm in Los Angeles. A Democratic stronghold. A sanctuary city. A melting pot of progressive and liberal heathens.

Hollywood and costal elitism.

Cut to the chase. Where are we going?

What's your actual question?

How do I know any Trumpers?

My circle of friends is pretty diverse.

It's the Muslims and the pro-Hamas libs. They're handing the election to Trump out of spite.

A silver lining to the cloud of Trump waddling into the Oval Office is that he may show the pro-Hamasers a small taste of what real payback is like. Not the fake "genocide" they've been bellyaching about for the last year after the Palestinians slaughtered 1,400 Israelis in cold blood.

I have zero clue what Doc is trying to say with that diatribe. Censored, I wouldn't say it's in the bag but the aggregate betting market has Trump at +9.8. Far from a done deal but it's trending in his direction and has been for the last 3 weeks. If he does win, I think there's a few things the autopsy will conclude ... 1) Switching Biden out that late in the game was an error 2) There should have been a mini primary 3) If neither 1 or 2 occurred Harris should have started actual interviews immediately and not have waited as long as she did.

You know, the thing is, for most democrats/liberals/progressives, we simply can't conceive how half the country could/will vote for that sack of suet.

His cons
His corruption
His steadily progressive brain damage
His anti-american hate speech
His lies
His threats of violence
His threats of sweeping up 15 million people and throwing them out of the country
His overturning RvW
His threats of retaliation
His conspiracy madness untethered to reality
His felony convictions
His VP choice
His literal attempt to overthrow the government
His economy destroying tarrifs

And those are his good qualities.

Ok, a portion of the country will view him as an outsider who wants to tear down the government, or as a receptable for their hate or as a useful tool to whatever fascist anti-american agenda they have

But how so many?

How is a normal centrist democrat not running away from this literal rapist?

I am sorry but it is very hard to understand.

Except that there appears to be a LOT of ------ people in this country.

@#14 ... You know, the thing is, for most democrats/liberals/progressives, we simply can't conceive how half the country could/will vote for that sack of suet. ...

My concern has a few aspects.

One aspect is how so-called Christians do anything but criticize fmr Pres Trump's actions.

Nary a peep from the Christians on that regard.

So, now Christians now think it is OK for a man to sexually assault a woman.

And other things ...

@#14 ... Ok, a portion of the country will view him as an outsider who wants to tear down the government ...

My first question in that area...

When someone states that they want to destroy something, I have to ask --- and replace it by what?

That is where fmr Pres Trump's Project 2025 leanings come into play.

In his first inaugural address, Lincoln appealed to "the better angels of our nature." Trump does just the opposite and that is a large part of his appeal. He encourages, justifies and rationalizes hatred of our fellow Americans, and many of our fellow MAGA Americans eat that poison right up and ask for a second heaping helping. He is selfish, self-righteous, mean, nasty, cruel, brutish and also, to hear him tell it, the world's greatest victim, and he gives his followers permission to do and be the same.

Lyrics excerpt...

...
I feel so extraordinary
Something's got a hold on me
I get this feeling I'm in motion
A sudden sense of liberty
I don't care, 'cause I'm not there
And I don't care if I'm here tomorrow
Again and again, I've taken too much
Of the things that cost you too much
...

You outright can't stand any of them and make that clear virtually every day.

but they are included in your circle of friends.

According to Jung, everyone has a shadow side, which is the dark side of the human psyche that is repressed in the unconscious. If the shadow isn't acknowledged and consciously intergrated into the personality, it gets projected onto others. Religions can have a shadow side too. Also political movements and countries.
