The NFL Playoffs

Well the playoffs are set and Detroit has finished the season with a bang, defeating Minnesota 31 - 9. For a team which has had as many injuries as they have had, particularly in their defensive squad, they sure did a good job of keeping the Vikings from scoring. Detroit wins their Conference/Division titles, gets the first week bye and earns home field advantage for the entire playoffs.

Darnald didn't make his case to be resigned by the Vikings last night. All those weapons and a beat up defense.

Dallas almost blew it yesterday, but finally managed to lose which gave them Pick 11 rather than Pick 16.

In a really pretty poor Draft that has maybe 15 projected 1st Rounders rather than the usual 20 or so.

amazing.....a 14 win team is a wild card team.....unreal.

don't see the texans beating chargers /

pittsburgh should also be one and done....ravens are on fire...and steelers are cold.....PERFECT BETTIN UPSET....I'll have

a'bob or two' on this one...

denver....no chance....I learned with several over / unders.....underestimate Josh Allen and you may as well toss

the scratch out the window on the freeway

eagles and Barkley.....can't miss.

washington is a lock.....except for one thing..............Baker Mayfeild...again...bet against him at your own risk.
.........................

lastly....Rams can beat the vikings.....because Stafford is a stud......
this one's a toss up.....

HISTORY........the Vikings suffered their first loss of the season to the Lions, then dropped a 30-20 meeting with the Rams a week later. Minnesota has work to do to prevent a sequel from earlier in the season.

Being a Ravens fan I'm concerned that the road to the SB most likely goes through Buffalo, but that means I can travel there and eat a lot of wings and chicken finger subs and perhaps poach a mafia girl for the night.

Detroit is a mighty fun team to watch so I hope they make it through the NFC gauntlet. Anyone but the Chiefs and Iggles.

Lifelong Dallas fan...I know, I know.
Rooting for Detroit to go all the way this year.

It's time for a Detroit Lions Super Bowl Champion.
Long past time.

I know 49ers fans are probably feeling like poop right now, so here's a stat to cheer them up:

The Dallas Cowboys have won a Super Bowl more recently (1995) than the 49ers (1994).

I'm rooting for the first ever threepeat. Go Chiefs.

people talk about belichek being the goat.....and right now he is..

but andy reid and his staff are just about the best ever....or will be

that being said,....I'm tired of the whole chiefs "thang"....

--eagles....eh....won't matter one way or another IF the bet is right

can't remember what ex jock I was listening to but I agree with him when he said that the lions was the

best (most fun ) team to watch...

..there is no one who can predict what dan campbell is going to do.......probably not even him..

the man from CLifton Texas / texas A&M is a unlike the others.

My son is a huge Chief's fan and he did himself proud accepting my Christmas gift of a "Go Taylor's Boyfriend" cap with good grace, wearing it with pride.

I think the Super Bowl is going to be Buffalo v Philadelphia

#11 | Posted by BellRinger at 2025-01-07 11:48 AM

As a Broncos fan, I think my team has a tough road. If the Broncos lose I'm pulling for the Lions. I really hope the ------ get knocked out early.

Pulling for the KC 3peat, but it'll be tough. Hopefully the Bills stampede the Donkeys and it ends up KC-BUF in the AFC Championship. If it isn't KC, it'd be nice to see Buffalo finally win a SB.

Chargers, Ravens, Bills, Iggles, Commanders, Vikes

If you had told Cowboys fans before the season started that they would end up with a better record than the Niners ... we would have been ecstatic.

But injuries in the NFL, along with a dollars before donuts mindset, can kill any team.

Philly has a good record this year, but is somewhere over 60 million in the red, the Boys at more like 20, so Philly has a ceiling on their near future success.

I've like KC ever since they got Andy out of Philly, and then hired a former TX high school and college QB in Mahomey.

But I may root for Detroit in the NFC, as they are like the homeless that are sincerely trying to win.

Packers fan here and hope they get by Philly (I think they can when they're playing smart and strong, but that has seldom happened this year).

In absence of a Packers appearance, I'm all in on Detroit. A Lions-Bills Super Bowl would be amazing.
