Gavin Newsom admits Democrats are toxic and judgmental

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) took a swing at his own party Friday evening, claiming Democrats have become too "toxic" and "judgmental."

His comments come after polling shows the Democratic Party's favorability rating sitting at a record low. A recent NBC News poll, referenced during the show, shows only 27 percent of respondents having a positive view of the party.

And maga is not "toxic". Seems pretty much all politics is toxic these days.

If democrats have become toxic it's because they are reacting to the maga toxity oozing from the Republican Party. Not that it makes it right but it is a natural reaction to infections from the sewer waste currently spewing from the maga firehose of hate.

Wow, a Democrat seems to be willing to publicly criticize the direction his party has taken.

Why is that such a surprise? It's not the first time it has occurred, nor do I'd say it s the last.

The Democratic Party has always allowed, even encouraged, internal criticism.

Or maybe the surprise is that such internal criticism seems to have been banished from the Republican Party under co-Pres Musk and Trump's threat of being primaried?
