"Who's gonna build that wall?" "Mexico!"

"And who's gonna bring peace to Gaza and Ukraine? It's gonna be so beautiful, you'll see, the trees will be the right height. I know a lot of stupid people that frankly are very tough. Those are the most dangerous, actually. Did I tell you I went to Wharton? Very smart people come out of there. Our country has never been so disrespected as it is right now. It's a laughing stock all over the world."

This is becoming like Infrastructure Week.

The Dotard called it "Unfrastructure" during his first Reign of Error.

Ham handed attempt at hardnosed "negotiating."

I've had clients do this. Inevitably, they come back and act as if nothing happened.

Trump says he can end the Russia-Ukraine war in one day

The brain dead orange pedo whiffs again.

#6 | Posted by reinheitsgebot at 2025-04-18 03:14 PM

He tried the one phone call that he promised would end the war. It didn't end the war. So Trump gives up.

Make it make sense, cultists.

Next step will be Trump officially arming Russia.

Lewzer will have to threaten to invade Norway if they don't give him a Nobel.

@#7 ... He tried the one phone call that he promised would end the war. It didn't end the war. So Trump gives up. ...

After he had said (a month ago? two months ago?) that Ukraine will never be allowed to join NATO and that the US would not help to guarantee the sovereign security of Ukraine.

So, before even going into serious negotiations, he cedes critical aspects of Ukraine's sovereign future to Pres Putin.

For a transactional "deal" he could boast about.

that Ukraine will never be allowed to join NATO

So long as the US is in NATO. When he pulls out, he has no say.

In fairness, his only other attempt at foreign negotiating was his surrender to the taliban in doha.

Wasn't this one of the ignoramic oaf's easy-peasy, no problema Day Onesies?

"No progress" is when you keep trying. Not when you run away.

Wrecking things is easy. Which is why Trump focuses his efforts there.

#15 | Posted by Zed at 2025-04-19 09:00 AM

Putin's bitch is too busy golfing to actually broker a peace deal.

#16 | Posted by reinheitsgebot at 2025-04-19 09:04 AM

Does anyone else understand the historical perspective of what just happened??

TRUMP washes his hands of Ukraine, on GOOD FRIDAY?

Nice one!

If Trump was legit... if he was interested in negotiating from a position of strength... his first move would have been to tell Putin to GTFO. Treating it as he has simply made it more obvious that Putin owns him.

Promises made, promises broken.

Trump's only interest in sticking his nose into Ukraine is to get something for Trump, preferably from both sides.

Sure, a lot of the stuff he is doing is to strengthen Putin, by diminishing our scope and involvement, but he won't make it easy for Putin until his transactional urge is satisfied. And same with Zelensky.

Basically, he sees a shake-down going on and wants to muscle in and shake them both down.
