Trump tells DOJ: investigate Dem donation platform ActBlue

President Trump on Thursday requested Attorney General Pam Bondi investigate ActBlue and other donation groups in what the White House says is a crackdown on "illegal 'straw donor' and foreign contributions in American elections."

LOL. Liberals cannot defend ActBlue - verified donations from individuals done thousands of times in small amounts that total into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. There is ZERO defense of this behavior - it is an illegal attempt to bypass transparency to hide their donors (which are likely foreign). Easy case to prosecute for the DOJ as the actions were 100% done by ActBlue.

I guess they can claim it was users on their platform and not them specifically, but they knew this was occurring and took no steps to stop it making them complicit in election fraud.

So, basically pennies compared to the meme-coin grift, where Trump and cronies may pocket $100 million, while investors lost $2 billion.

Conservatives have repeatedly claimed that ActBlue was acting as a conduit for foreign contributions. In December, an analysis of the fundraising network's records by Republican Representative Bryan Steil not only failed to advance the theory but instead found proof that the platform's automated program to reject donations from foreign nationals was working effectively.

So four months ago, a Republican investigated them, and not only found no malfeasance, but discovered the counter-measures were working well.

Why, if THAT's not a reason to investigate them, what is??? I mean, it's not like the DOJ is committing LAWFARE, amirite?
