More from the article...

... Why it matters: ActBlue is the main online donations platform for Democrats and the fundraising group in a media statement called Trump's action "blatantly unlawful" as it vowed to "immediately pursue all legal avenues to protect and defend" itself.

- - - Trump has since taking office for a second time in January used his presidential powers to target people and groups he and his administration have deemed political enemies or unfair critics. ...

Of course, I'm sure MAGA/GOP folk will soon be chiming in here about the DoJ being used by a President for lawfare purposes.

LOL. Liberals cannot defend ActBlue - verified donations from individuals done thousands of times in small amounts that total into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. There is ZERO defense of this behavior - it is an illegal attempt to bypass transparency to hide their donors (which are likely foreign). Easy case to prosecute for the DOJ as the actions were 100% done by ActBlue.

@#4 ... Liberals cannot defend ActBlue - verified donations ...

So, obviously your current trolling alias has evidence.

Got links?

"small amounts that total into the hundreds of thousands of dollars."

No need to present any evidence, because it's so obviously true.

@#6 ... because it's so obviously true. ...

... and why just target Democrats' fund raising orgs?

Given the current state of the GOP, I would not be surprised if there were a wealth (so to speak) of issues regarding campaign fundraising for the GOP.

There are literally dozens of examples posted online for you to watch. The fact that ActBlue did this is not up for debate. Here is a sample video - dozens more exist.

Every accusation is an admission.

Donnie fatso is worried democrats are doing what he's guilty of.

Biden was an incompetent president and allowed this to happen because he thought he could play nice with fascists.

ActBlue did this - there is literally zero doubt about it.

I guess they can claim it was users on their platform and not them specifically, but they knew this was occurring and took no steps to stop it making them complicit in election fraud.

Zero doubt?

If so, what evidence can your current trolling alias provide?

And, as an aside, may the DoJ should investigate a President blatantly profiting off his occupancy of the Oval Office?

For starters, there was that chimerical, shot on White House grounds, for Tesla vehicles a few weeks ago.

And now ...

... The Trump Organization rolled out "Trump 2028" hats on its website in support of President Trump's suggestion that he could seek a third term in office.

Eric Trump, one of the president's sons, was spotted wearing the new piece of merchandise being sold for $50 online. The store is also selling t-shirts with the same phrase and a slogan in parenthesis that says "Rewrite the Rules." ...

Did anyone figure out what Jared Kushner did with the $2 billion the Saudis gave him when he was working for Trump during his first term?

So, basically pennies compared to the meme-coin grift, where Trump and cronies may pocket $100 million, while investors lost $2 billion.

There you go again ... inserting facts into a thread. :)

Using a GRAT for tax-efficient wealth transfer
www.fidelity.com

...
Key takeaways

- - - For families or individuals who own assets that they expect to appreciate significantly in value, a grantor retained annuity trust (GRAT) might be an appropriate option to consider as part of a comprehensive estate plan.

- - - With a GRAT, the grantor gives up control of the assets for the term of the trust while receiving a regular annuity payment, and the appreciation on the trust assets may pass to heirs free of gift or estate taxes.

- - - The trust can be structured so that the grantor does not use any of their lifetime gift and estate-tax exclusion....

Conservatives have repeatedly claimed that ActBlue was acting as a conduit for foreign contributions. In December, an analysis of the fundraising network's records by Republican Representative Bryan Steil not only failed to advance the theory but instead found proof that the platform's automated program to reject donations from foreign nationals was working effectively.

So four months ago, a Republican investigated them, and not only found no malfeasance, but discovered the counter-measures were working well.

Why, if THAT's not a reason to investigate them, what is??? I mean, it's not like the DOJ is committing LAWFARE, amirite?

Citizens United does not allow foreign funds to be given to our elections because they break the transactions into 1000 small donations in the name of someone that has no idea their identity is being stolen to hide the source of the payments.

I guess they didn't cover this at you pretend law school.

Flashback to when Donald Trump was signing up donors to make repeated donations when they only intended to make a single donation. That's a thing that really happened that unless whatever it is he is making up about ActBlue. It's another thing that he should be in prison for.

You continue to irrefutably demonstrate you ignorance of things law related. Citizens United dealt with a persons right to spend their money as they see fit. The fallout is from the tax code. Congress can legislate the tax code. They can't legislate around rights.

What don't you dipshits understand about this - ActBlue is using US citizen's names and then making donations as if it were that person - and the person has not idea they are doing this or authorizing it. It is identity theft along with campaign finance fraud. ActBlue is getting shut down over this.

Not without a legal battle.

Laws are different in America than in Russia.

Trump's corrupt DOJ can't just shut something down without evidence.
