A Colorado man who was on his honeymoon in Florida was killed after being struck by lightning at New Smyrna Beach on Friday in what may have been the state's first lightning fatality this year, the authorities said.

Extreme weather has been killing and injuring Americans this year. In addition to this tragedy, a lightning strike injured a score of people on a Wisconsin lake, a sudden rogue squall capsized a boat on Lake Tahoe, drowning several people, floods killed people in Texas, and a heat wave is currently affecting about 160 million people.

But hey, there's no global warming and Dummkopf Trumpf will be eliminating FEMA. Here's what the US looked like five years ago, which will look worse in the future:
