Donald Trump Wants Netanyahu's Corruption Trial Cancelled

Donald Trump called for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's corruption trial to be "cancelled immediately" or for giving him a pardon. This post on Truth Social is an unprecedented intervention by a POTUS in a legal proceeding in another democratic country.

Trump also already sanctioned the ICC for indicting Benjamin Netanyahu and Vladimir Putin for crimes against humanity. Disgraced ex-President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro, an ally of Trump, is on trial for attempting a coup on 8 Jan 2023. Honestly... watching Trumpanzee getting flipped off by other nations is good for the US... which has for far too many years been given a pass... just because.

With the Boomers dying off and the WW2 generation all but gone the legacy of the whole need for an Israeli State is drifting away with it. It feels less important to the newer generations.

The US has been at war somewhere in the Middle East for the last 3 decades. For some young adults, that means their entire lives, we've been at war... working on that problem.

The problem isn't solved.

I think it's time for the Israelis to solve their own problems... with their own money...
