Pickled Pete trying to create a tragedy to distract from Trump being a PEDO?

The B-52 was flying with no transponder.

The Air Force did not inform the local airport about the flyover, which is important because the local airport does not have radar.

SkyWest saved the day here. From USAF's stupidity.

Warplanes almost never use transponders. I see a lot of air tankers and military transports with transponders, but never bombers or fighters (other than Talons used for training).

At least you can't blame it on transgenders.

Has Cankles McPedo blamed this on DEI yet?

Biden's fault. Obama too. Arrest them both...

^ exactly. If the incompetents in the WH even mention this, they will somehow claim it was Biden who caused this near-disaster.

The B-52 moved on the Delta plane like a bitch.

The B-52 has transponders that work with TCAS, but no TCAS display. It has Mode C transponders.

FAA requires all large commercial aircraft to have a full TCAS system installed.

"Warplanes almost never use transponders."

Warplanes always use transponders when conducting routine flights. Normally only the flight lead will squawk an IFF code, the wingmen will remain in standby. What the B-52 does not have, or didn't have the last time I flew one, was an RVSM-compliant transponder system.

And there is a radar there somewhere. It's controlled by RAPCON, which manages the approach and departure frequencies. I spent hundreds of hours as the Supervisor of flying in the MAFB tower, and we had a radar feed.
