Carter's Baby Clothing Brand to Slash 150 Stores Due to Tariffs

There's also plans to reduce its office-based workforce by 300 -- a 15% cut -- by the end of this year. This is all due to the tariffs introduced by President Donald Trump's administration.

Trump's tariffs are hurting almost everyone in the pocketbook.

We got notices our homeowner and auto insurance premiums would be going up due to higher replacement & repair costs thanks to Trump's tariffs.

At this point, does the US even have the capability for the level of domestic fabrication needed to replace China-produced clothing goods?

If not, how long will it take to bring such a domestic fabrication capability online?
