Carter's Baby Clothing Brand to Slash 150 Stores Due to Tariffs
There's also plans to reduce its office-based workforce by 300 -- a 15% cut -- by the end of this year. This is all due to the tariffs introduced by President Donald Trump's administration.

Trump's tariffs are hurting almost everyone in the pocketbook.
We got notices our homeowner and auto insurance premiums would be going up due to higher replacement & repair costs thanks to Trump's tariffs.

Is that what you want everyone to do, make ------- shirts?
No thanks, I'll take my high skill job I got by getting an education. Good pay, better health insurance, pension and IRA contributions. You can go make shirts and retire on social security.

Can Melania's Diamond Encrusted Diaper Pins be far behind?
Or will they just be her new bitcoin meme?

Melania's diapers come pre-used and have sold out already.

@#3 ... More imports hurting domestic fabrication... ...
At this point, does the US even have the capability for the level of domestic fabrication needed to replace China-produced clothing goods?
If not, how long will it take to bring such a domestic fabrication capability online?
And, at what cost?

And what would be the point, what with there being no discernible trade policy to plan around?

Because your boy chickened out on the tariffs. It will get worse, but it won't get better with Trump in charge.
