Not only does Russia gain oil $'s, Putin also taxes oil exports $1 for every $2 in sales.

Money for his own war. And just as Russia was entering fiscal deficit territory.

Now, as of prices right now, it's 50% higher, and we'll all be paying more for everything. On top of the tariff-caused inflation.

As Gulf Arab oil producers from Saudi Arabia to Iraq cut production and scramble for new routes that bypass the strait, Iran is conducting business as usual, throwing a financial lifeline to Tehran as its people comes under blistering attacks from the US and Israel.

Since the war started on 28 Feb, seven tankers have loaded oil off the Iranian coast. At least two of the most recent loadings are out of the Persian Gulf.
