Federal Communications Commission Chair Brendan Carr threatened to revoke broadcasters' licenses over coverage of the Iran war, after President Trump accused news outlets of "intentionally misleading" the American public.

Yes it reminds me of the Disinformation Governance Board established by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in April 2022 to coordinate efforts against disinformation, particularly related to national security threats.
