Trump Insists He Would Have Won War He Dodged

President Donald Trump claimed Tuesday it would've taken him just five months to end a war he refused to fight in.

Donald Trump is now peddling the fantasy that he could have "won" Vietnam in five months. Truly remarkable coming from the same man who invented "bone spurs" to stay home while others his age were on the front lines. A masterclass in cowardice-fueled revisionism.

"Trump Claims He'd Have Won Vietnam War - Which He Dodged"

Sometimes the only way to win, is to not play the game. Genius!

I definitely believe Trump would have declared victory in Vietnam within five months just like he declared victory in Iran after a week. He's full of crap.

He would have Taco'ed on Kissinger, and tried to date Jane Fonda.

Imagine getting drafted,
getting sent to Vietnam,
decades later, voting for the draft dodger,
and then,

hearing the draft dodger tell you he could have won the war you lost.

REMF doesn't have to imagine.
MSgt doesn't have to imagine either.

Just shut the fuck up, Donnie.

One of the reasons the Vietnam war was lost was due to civilian meddling in how to wage the war.

The US government misled Americans about the Vietnam war.

The Americans did not support the war.

The U.S. supported a corrupt and anti-democratic South Vietnamese regime, making it hard for Americans to justify the defense of such a government.

If the people do not support war it's doomed to fail.

Americans felt the government misled them regarding the war's progress and motives, creating a "credibility gap".

Which still exists (and is even worse) today.

Not sure I believe the man who claimed he would end the Russo-Ukrainian war in 24 hours and, well, has no idea what to do about the current war he started.

So, why didn't the silver-spooned slumlord-to-be serve during the Vietnam War, like his fellow patriotic Americans and approximately 30,000 Canadians who voluntarily joined the US Armed Forces to fight in SE Asia?
